Scrap Salvage (Pty) Ltd is part of Epic Holdings Group and was established in 2005. Due to a network of existing infrastructure, we immediately gained market leadership in scrap recycling in Namibia. The founder Etienne Weakley has been involved in the scrap industry for 28 years. Most of the employees have a wealth of experience in recycling and have been with the family for many years. Our workforce is more than 150 people strong.

We offer a total recycling facility for any type of metal waste – we supply the appropriate type of collection containers for your particular recycling needs free of charge. We back this up with a free collecting service. Our competitive advantage is not only a financial one, but also the fact that we take great pride in our level of service and efficiency. To ensure this, we invest in state of the art recycling equipment. Our commitment is to improve and increase our recycling capabilities and to this end we are working very closely with the local authorities. Scrap Salvage has branches in Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Rundu, Ondangwa, Oshakati and the head office in Kallie Roodt Street Windhoek. There are also two branches established in Angola and we are the major shareholder in Scrap for Africa in Cape Town, which consists of two yards.

We are very proud to say that all our employees are Namibians and we are a fully Namibian company. We are the leading producer of recycled ferrous and non ferrous scrap metal products in Namibia with regard to revenue and sales volumes.
